Saudi Arabia leads Middle East tourist arrivals to Indonesia
Saudi Arabia has emerged as the largest source of Middle Eastern tourists to Indonesia, with over 83,000 arrivals from January to July 2026. The Indonesian tourism ministry aims to promote various destinations beyond Bali, targeting Saudi travelers known for their higher expenditure and longer stays, while addressing challenges posed by geopolitical tensions in the region.
