اكتشف باحثون روس أن جزيئاً صغيراً يُعرف باسم «HAEE»، كان قد طُوّر بهدف الحد من تجمع البروتينات المرتبطة بمرض الزهايمر، يوجد بصورة طبيعية في دم الإنسان، لكن مستوياته لدى المصابين بالمرض تقل بنحو النصف مقارنة بالأصحاء، ما يفتح المجال أمام بحث إمكانية استخدامه مؤشراً حيوياً للكشف عن المرض وتطوير علاجات مستقبلية.
