The Saudi medical charity Al-Balsam Association conducted 112 heart-related surgeries, including 28 open-heart and 84 catheterization procedures, in Abuja, Nigeria, from October 13-18. The mission, which faced travel disruptions due to militia attacks and operational challenges at hospitals, involved 10 Saudi volunteers and 35 Nigerian professionals, who received commendations for their dedication to humanitarian work.
