UK Mission in Jerusalem will continue to serve Palestinians, former consul general tells Arab News
Former UK Consul-General Sir Vincent Fean affirmed that the British government is dedicated to fully restoring its diplomatic mission in East Jerusalem, which serves Palestinians, despite Israeli threats to close it. Fean emphasized that the UK has maintained a diplomatic presence in Jerusalem since 1838 and will continue to support Palestinian interests, operating independently from Israel.
