Saudi Arabia backs UN condemnation of Houthi attacks Riyadh has endorsed a statement from UN Security Council members denouncing Houthi strikes on Saudi territory. The Saudi foreign ministry urged full implementation of the council’s resolutions addressing attacks on civilians and infrastructure, according to remarks published by the Saudi Press Agency. It also backed the members’ call for practical cooperation to block weapons supplies and other assistance to the Yemeni group.
