Al-Ittihad’s coach Wessing draws lessons from May 2024 loss to Al-Hilal to shape new campaign
Al-Ittihad Football Club head coach Jens Wessing attributed his team’s 3-2 defeat to Al Hilal in the Saudi Professional League fixture at Kingdom Arena on May 6, 2024, to individual errors and missed opportunities, according to remarks made at the official post-match press conference. Wessing acknowledged Al-Ittihad’s resilience in narrowing the deficit but emphasized the need to address mistakes ahead of their upcoming AFC Champions League match against Shabab Al-Ahli.
