سجلت وزارة الأوقاف الفلسطينية خلال الأشهر الماضية ارتفاعا في الانتهاكات داخل الحرم، بينها منع رفع الأذان عشرات المرات شهريا، وإغلاق أجزاء منه، وفرض قيود على موظفي الأوقاف والمصلين، إلى جانب اقتحامات متكررة للمستوطنين. وقالت الوزارة إن قوات الاحتلال منعت الأذان 155 مرة خلال تموز/ يوليو الماضي وحده.
