Drone attack hits Khor Mor gas field in Iraq’s Kurdistan region A drone attack targeted the Khor Mor gas field, one of the largest in the Kurdistan region, on Sunday, according to Kurdish security forces. The security sources said that smoke was seen rising from the field located in Iraq’s Sulaymaniyah Governorate. According to the Kurdistan region's electricity ministry, nearly 2.8GW of power generation was lost in the attack, which hit a gas facility in the field. Reporting by Reuters
