علمت 'النهار' من مصادر مطلعة في واشنطن أن رئاسة الجمهورية ورئاسة الحكومة في لبنان أُبلغتا بقرار وزارة الخارجية الأميركية اعتبار القنصل اللبناني في ديترويت إبراهيم شرارة «شخصاً غير مرغوب فيه»، وأن لا خيار أمام السلطات اللبنانية سوى الامتثال للقرار، باعتباره قراراً سيادياً أميركياً.
