نجح الجهاز الوطني لمكافحة المخدرات، بالتعاون مع عدد من القيادات الشرطية بالدولة متمثلةً في شرطة رأس الخيمة وشرطة دبي وشرطة الشارقة وشرطة عجمان، بالإضافة إلى المديرية العامة لشؤون المخدرات والمؤثرات العقلية بوزارة الداخلية العراقية، في إحباط محاولة تهريب 200 ألف قرص كبتاجون وأكثر من 30 كيلوغراماً من المواد المخدرة إلى الدولة، وضبط شبكة إجرامية دولية تضم 20 متهماً من جنسيات خليجية وعربية وأفريقية وآسيوية.

Bahraini officials have framed the move in existential terms, saying Iran seeks to undermine and ultimately topple the leadership of the only Gulf country that is ruled by a Sunni Muslim family but populated mostly by Shi'ites.
