French bank says cyberattack stole around $100m
French regional bank Credit Mutuel Arkea reported a cyberattack that resulted in the theft of approximately 100 million euros ($112 million) through unauthorized transactions. The bank confirmed that while client accounts were unaffected, the stolen funds were later converted to cryptocurrencies, with some efforts ongoing to recover a portion of the money.
