3,917 Palestinian homes demolished in East Jerusalem since 1967
According to Jordan’s Royal Committee for Jerusalem Affairs, Israeli authorities have demolished 3,917 Palestinian homes in occupied East Jerusalem since June 1967, a practice seen as a systematic attempt to alter the demographics of the city. The committee’s secretary-general, Abdullah Kanaan, urged for international action against forced evictions and emphasized the significant cultural and national implications of Jerusalem for the Palestinian people.
