Denmark commits over $895,000 to disarm Syria’s chemical weapons program

Denmark has pledged over €800,000 ($895,000) to aid in the complete elimination of Syria’s chemical weapons program. This funding, part of Denmark’s Peace and Stabilization Fund, will support the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in its technical missions to disarm the remaining chemical arsenal from the Assad era.
