Israel seizes land near Jenin for military use amid settlement expansion

Israeli authorities have seized an 8,645-sq.-meter plot of land in the Palestinian village of Deir Abu Da’if for military purposes, as part of ongoing settlement expansion efforts in the West Bank. This move, according to local officials, aims to consolidate control over Palestinian land and restrict the development of local communities, amid widespread international condemnation of such actions as illegal under international law.
